The Marketing Communications & Data Specialist is responsible for transforming data into compelling narratives and actionable strategies that drive brand performance and customer engagement. This role blends analytical thinking, marketing research, and creative communication turning market intelligence into insight-led campaigns that inform, influence, and inspire.
The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of data analysis, marketing research, and reporting tools, and knows how to craft persuasive messages that elevate brand positioning and support key business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct marketing research to gather insights on consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Analyze large sets of quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategies and campaign development
- Identify data gaps and ensure data accuracy to support business and communication planning
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support decision-making
- Create clear and engaging reports that showcase media presence, campaign results, and audience insights
Collaborate with internal teams to shape and enhance data infrastructure and reporting tools
- Translate market and research insights into compelling communication strategies and messaging
- Craft marketing content that educates, influences, and drives customer action across channels
- Monitor market trends and competitor performance to refine positioning and strategic direction
Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing communications, marketing research, or data analysis
- Strong research and analytical skills with experience in surveys, focus groups, or market intelligence tools
- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Data Studio, or similar platforms
- Ability to interpret data and research findings into strategic communication plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense for storytelling
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage
- Experience in campaign reporting, media monitoring, or digital marketing analytics is preferred
